I grew up in the mighty Hutt Valley, and after school fled the nest to Dunedin where I gained my Bachelor of Commerce at Otago University.

After graduation, I had no idea what I wanted to do and so applied for a graduate role with The Warehouse Group. This role involved working in different stores with the ultimate goal to become a Store Manager.

I was first placed in Timaru where I spent 6 months, before being moved to Auckland. I was involved with the stores' Christmas recruitment and ended up really enjoying it, so applied for a Recruitment Coordinator position with a Recruitment Agency in which I was successful - and the rest is history.

What I enjoy about Recruitment is meeting new people. I’ve met some of my best friends in this industry, and I work with an amazing bunch of people who motivate each other. It is a career path that is not often spoken about, but one you can really succeed in!
