I was born and raised on the North Shore in Auckland and headed to Wellington in 1997 to attend Victoria University to study Physical Geography, ultimately to become a Geography teacher... however that wasn't to be!

I headed overseas with my wife in 2000 and spent 3+ awesome years in France and the UK. It was there I started a career in the project space in technology and business related projects working for the BBC. This continued on my return to Wellington where I worked for PIPC Consulting Group, Ministry of Justice and ANZ Bank. In my project roles I really enjoyed the recruitment aspect and I have always loved working with people so it was a natural jump into IT Recruitment in 2007 when I joined Place Recruitment focussing on Technology recruitment for Government and Private Sectors.

In July 2013 I took a leap of faith and joined what was then a fledgling start-up recruitment business, led by Nick Calavrias, and helped grow and build FIND IT Wellington to the successful business it is today. Since 2016 I have been privileged enough to lead our IT Recruitment team, which I feel very fortunate for.

Since the beginning of my Recruitment career I have always received satisfaction out of helping people find a job that can change their life, and watching their career progress and develop is so rewarding. On the flip-side, helping our clients find people that enable their businesses and teams to grow and achieve outstanding results is also very rewarding.
